What are the most significant cases or transactions that you have been involved in over the past year?

This year, Asia Clean Capital Vietnam (ACCV) is working first-time ever direct power purchase agreement (DPPA) case following Decree 80/2024/ND-CP. It is exciting that ACCV, our multinational clients and Vietnam Government join hands to implement DPPA for the increasing demand of low carbon energy supply.

What innovations have you made to the way your legal team works in the past year?

We have applied blockchain technology for carbon credits generated by our projects.

Which political, economic or regulatory changes have impacted your work the most in the past year?

DPPA is a game changer in Vietnam. DPPA could be deemed as a significant step towards allowing the private sector to participate in electricity retail distribution.
