The legal team at Satlink remains fully committed to supporting the consolidation of the Satlink group in the LATAM region from a legal perspective. In this regard, our team continues to address all day-to-day legal matters that may arise for colleagues, as well as the legal needs that may emerge with clients in those regions. These day-to-day legal issues are handled with the same level of importance as any major transaction, as Satlink believes that success lies in managing every situation with maximum availability and providing the best possible internal legal service.
What strategies do you employ to ensure your legal advice is effectively aligned with the unique regulatory environments and cultural nuances of different LATAM countries?
At Satlink, we continue to rely on closeness and local counsel as two fundamental elements to ensure excellence in legal advice. The human element and empathy in our internal and external relationships across different LATAM countries remain core values in our work, as we strive to adapt to the local characteristics and business practices in each jurisdiction. What are your organisation’s plans in the LATAM region over the next 12 months, and how will your legal expertise help to achieve these plans?
Over the next 12 months, Satlink aims to further strengthen its presence in the LATAM region by expanding its business operations and building stronger relationships with clients and partners. Our legal team will play a crucial role in this expansion by ensuring full compliance with local regulations and addressing any legal challenges that may arise. We will continue to rely on our strong network of local legal experts and leverage our internal capabilities to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and cultural differences, ensuring smooth operations and mitigating any potential risks.
What specific challenges have you encountered when managing legal issues related to Latin American markets from a European perspective, and how has your team addressed these challenges?
As mentioned earlier, the primary challenge lies in adapting to the human and legal needs of each specific region. The experience of our legal team, combined with the support of local legal entities, has allowed us to effectively overcome these challenges to date. By maintaining close collaboration with local counsel and continuously developing a deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks and business practices in each LATAM country, we have successfully navigated any obstacles and delivered effective legal solutions.
