Bio

Astrid Bolea is senior regulatory legal counsel at Revolut Bank UAB Romania branch, coordinating the legal work related to Revolut banking expansion in Romania. She is working together with the broader Revolut legal department in Lithuania and the United Kingdom. Her main fields of expertise are banking Law, European Law and consumer protection. Before joining an in-house legal position at Revolut, Astrid began her legal career in central banking. She has recently become a PhD in Law at the West University of Timisoara – Faculty of Law, where her research focused on consumer agreements from a law and economics perspective. She is currently a teaching assistant in Company Law at West University of Timisoara – Faculty of Law. Astrid holds a degree in law at West University of Timisoara and a Master of Law (LLM) from University of Cambridge.
