How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
The one-in-a-million crisis is a common occurrence when you serve over a hundred-million customers a year. A steadfast resolve to maintaining core values must be immutable to create an effective culture capable of handling times of stress and exceptional adversity.
In your opinion, what are the main trends affecting your work now (these can be legal, political, economic or business-based)?
With the growth of retail choices available to consumers, customers have become savvier and selective. Buc-ee’s success in exceeding customers’ expectations is straightforward – maintain clean stores, keep products in stock, and ensure customers enjoy a friendly experience. The Legal Department is but one of many teams within the Company that supports these three core values on a daily basis, regardless of societal, legal, or other challenges.
What strategic priorities are guiding your legal team into 2025?
Buc-ee’s Legal Department is focused on supporting the incredible growth of the Company.
