Not only during periods of instability or crises, my approach to managing legal aspects involves a proactive and adaptive strategy. First and foremost, I prioritiSe close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This involves maintaining open lines of communication with the executive team, department heads, and external legal advisors to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed. By fostering these relationships and keeping a close eye on the latest legal developments, I can anticipate potential legal issues and address them together with our legal team before they escalate.

This alignment and anticipation help to maintain organiSational resilience by addressing potential legal risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in time. By staying informed about emerging legal trends, we can – involving the right stakeholders within our organization – effectively navigate challenges and support the organization’s long-term goals. Understanding the company’s long-term goals and objectives is essential for all members of the legal team to ensure that our legal actions support these objectives.

Additionally, I believe in the importance of flexibility and adaptability. Crises often bring unexpected challenges, and being able to pivot and adjust our legal strategy as needed is key to maintaining stability and supporting the business through turbulent times.

What are the main cases or transactions that you have been involved in recently?

Recently, I have been involved in several significant cases and transactions, including IT outsourcing contracts, cyber security incidents, refinancing, and litigations. These cases have required a thorough understanding of complex legal issues and close collaboration with various departments to achieve successful outcomes. My role has involved providing strategic legal advice, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

How have you integrated technology into your legal processes, and what impact has this had on efficiency and compliance?

Integrating legal technology into our processes is considered a game-changer for enhancing efficiency and ensuring compliance. We’ve recently recognized the need to implement contract lifecycle management software, allowing us to also use the power of AI. This realization has driven us to diligently work on how to best implement this technology to enhance our processes.

By leveraging AI-supported contract lifecycle management software, we aim to streamline the entire contract process, from creation and negotiation to execution and renewal. This technology will help us automate routine tasks, reduce the risk of human error, increase the level of standardization and enable us to take data driven decisions. However, we are also aware about the need to stay realistic when it comes to the possibilities of AI – in the end, the human factor can’t be replaced.

Nonetheless, the impact of this integration is expected to be profound. We anticipate a significant increase of standardization and a reduction in time required for contract review and management, which will translate to cost savings for the company. More importantly, enhanced accuracy and efficiency will strengthen our compliance efforts, ensuring that we meet contractual and regulatory obligations and maintain our reputation for integrity and reliability.

We are currently in the process of evaluating different solutions and developing a comprehensive implementation plan. This involves close collaboration with our IT department, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the chosen solution aligns with our business needs and integrates with our existing systems.
