The Arca Continental legal team oversees all legal matters, cross-border transactions and corporate governance relating to the company’s beverage and snacks business areas in South America (Argentina, Ecuador and Peru).
Central to Arca Continental’s exponential growth in the beverage sector in Latin America, the legal team has directly worked on various strategic transactions. This includes the US$2.7bn joint venture with Coca-Cola refreshments across Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador and Peru as well as expanding across the US to Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas.
A testament to the successful business-legal relationship in the company is the recent Fitch Ratings upgrade of Peruvian bottler Corporacion Lindley to A- from BBB+. This reflects the strong operational and legal ties between Arca Continental and Lindley.
