The legal and general secretariat department of Banco GNB Perú is divided into four areas: legal advice, normative compliance and market conduct, consulting and business support and general secretariat. The department is led by Miguel Angel Raygada Castillo, manager of the legal and general secretariat division, and he leads a department providing specialised legal advice to all areas and corporate bodies of the Bank with efficiency and creativity. Other team members include legal specialist on corporate banking Mayra Campos, trial lawyer Edgard Lazaro, senior legal specialist Jorge Loaiza, normative compliance officer Alida Centeno and Estefania Queirolo, the company’s conduct market officer. The legal team boasts a high percentage of judicial trials won over the last few years, and has been behind the purchase of mortgage loan portfolios of a significant financial entity in the region. It has also facilitated important loan agreements with corporate customers and created and elaborated a new in-house product within trust services.
