What are the projects that you are most proud of working on over the past 12 months?

In the recent month I´ve contributed to the construction of the biggest payment ecosystem in Ecuador, providing the proper legal treatment of the different payment products implemented in the market. I´m very proud of my job, specially when most people in Ecuador are using the digital payments methods in their daily transactions.

How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crisis to ensure the organisation’s resilience?

The resilience is one of the most important task in my work. For managing periods of instability, I always should provide disrupted solutions which help to solve the real problem. In fact, as a lawyer, we should contribute with different areas in the organisation with exponential ideas in order to get over the instability periods.

What strategies do you employ to ensure the successful digital transformation of a legal department while maintaining compliance with your country’s data protection laws?

The digital transformation in the legal department is important to survive the new information era. It is important make a review of all process in the legal department ton ensure efficiency and resilience. In addition, we shall consider the data protection laws and structure plans for all the regulatory regimen in this topic.
