Managing legal counsel Bora Kaya is the chief legal officer of the GAMA Construction Group, managing a department of three lawyers and six support staff in a team that is currently expanding. The team includes two senior legal specialists, Hande Mutlu and Esra Berktaş, who report to Kaya and are responsible for all legal operations of power plant manufacturing and all other industrial construction operations including PPP projects. Additionally, Seçil Kuyucak, a construction engineer, leads the contracts and claims department with six members taking care of all of the Group’s contracts and claims. In the past two years, Gama Industry and Gama Power, two separate companies, have been operationally merged under the name of GAMA Construction Group, and the in-house team have been appointed as the legal team responsible for all of the legal issues, contracts and claims of both companies. Members of the team also demonstrate strong dispute resolution skills, earning qualifications from the Chartered Institution of Arbitrators.
