Since joining the company in 2005, Lacavera has built a global intellectual property litigation team and led disputes across US and European courts as well as at the International Trade Commission. Using ‘cutting-edge defense strategies’, she oversaw Google’s 2012 victory over Oracle, as well as two major copyright wins over Viacom. Away from disputes, Lacavera was also involved in Motorola Mobility’s $12.5bn acquisition in 2012.
