Geneviève Bérubé

Geneviève Bérubé is a business lawyer with 23 years of experience within large national law firms and multinational corporations. As a Canadian and Belgian lawyer, Bérubé has lived and worked in Canada until 2007 and the Netherlands and Belgium later in her life. Her accumulated areas of expertise encompass commercial contracts, contract manufacturing, real estate and competition law. Bérubé is currently the general counsel for Chemviron Belgium, an international manufacturer of activated carbon, carbon filters, and purification systems with applications including drinking water treatment, air purification and sugar decolouring or purification. She is also a member of the board of directors for Chemviron, giving advice on commercial contracts, sales, procurement, distribution, logistics and contract manufacturing. A significant part of her role also involves claims and litigation management, including engaging, instructing and managing lawyers to deal with internal investigation and insurance claims. Prior to joining Chemviron, Bérubé worked as senior legal counsel EMEA at CG Power (Crompton Greaves) for three years. Since November 2016, Bérubé has served as a Belgium co-country representative at ACC Europe.
