A world-class litigator with extensive experience leading successful teams under ICC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL rules as well as at ICSID and in the English High Court, Maurice Kenton’s career has seen him work on a consistently transnational basis. Having worked on high value and complex international disputes across five continents, his work in Africa is particularly impressive; Kenton worked on investment arbitrations for an Australian listed mining company against the Gambia as well as at an LCIA arbitration for the Ghanaian state owned oil storage and transportation company concerning the construction and use of a tank farm. Considered an expert in several sectors, such as mining, oil and gas, power, telecommunications, infrastructure and insurance, he has advised important clients including both private and state parties.
