Jason Kerr is a noted specialist in projects and international finance, with a geographical focus that extends to emerging markets on several continents including Africa. Kerr’s advice – which he has given to a range of actors including commercial banks, multilateral lending agencies and developers – has seen him involved in many important transactions in many different African nations, including Chad and Nigeria. In the latter he lead on one of the largest ever oil asset acquisitions in Nigerian history, whilst in the former, he advised the mandated lead arrangers in respect of a reserves-based facility of up to US$250m in respect of the Mangara/Badila oil fields located in the Republic of Chad.
