Recognised by clients as one of the preeminent disputes lawyers working in Latin America, Richard Lorenzo has advised on a number of high-profile litigations and arbitrations across the region on behalf of entities based in Venezuela, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Brazil. In Mexico, his work has included numerous representations of state-owned petroleum giant Pemex, including defending against a petition to confirm a $300m Mexican International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitral award that had previously been nullified by the Mexican courts.
