A division of Novartis and the global leader in eye care, Alcon has an in-house legal team comprised of over 20 individuals who handle the full range of legal and compliance issues for the company within Latin America. The team is led by head of legal and compliance for Latin America and the Caribbean, Kerry Dailey. She is a member of both the Alcon legal leadership team and the company’s regional leadership team, from the legal function’s headquarters in Fort Worth. The team has recently been involved in enacting a comprehensive overhaul of compliance procedures to ensure a best-in-class framework in this area and rigid adherence of the company to ethical behaviour, focusing on anti-fraud and anti-bribery practices among other areas.
