Alejandro Celedón Raveau is a lawyer with 15 years of experience encompassing five in Chilean and Spanish banks, and 10 as a legal counsel of SONDA, the leader of a consolidated group of companies who makes public offering of its shares. Celedón Raveau was only 31 years old when he was appointed as director of Quintec, acquired by Sonda in a takeover bid, which at that time was working towards a public offering of its shares. Celedón Raveau has a strong academic background with a Masters in international business law in Spain, tax in Chile in progress, and a diploma in accounting and financial analysis. He has led and participated in several M&A operations, corporate bond emissions, secondary public offerings, takeover bids, the implementation of new corporate governance rules (codes, manuals, procedures and mechanisms), joint-and-several surety guarantees for local and foreign subsidiaries, EPC and EMPC contracts, and restructured the consolidated group. He is highly skilled in legal elements of the IT industry including IP law, acquiring dexterity in distributing risk in drafting and negotiate more than 3,000 IT contracts. He has worked on the company’s shareholder agreements, investing and collaborating agreements with partners or software solution owners that integrate to SONDA’s offer or with its services, negotiating the conditions to joint participations in new business or bidding process of governments or states. All the mentioned contracts have been, and are, the object of negotiation with all kinds of companies ranging in size, industry sector, global, local, and regional and including in Chile and across Latin America. He highlights that he is ‘oriented to obtain results, seeking practical, workable, efficient and low cost legal solutions’. He demonstrates proficiency in implement process and its management, training young lawyers and forming and leading working teams.
