MoneyGram is an international money transfer company with headquarters in the US. Its global legal team is made up of 20 individuals who report into the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary Aaron Henry. Each world region has a dedicated senior legal counsel in charge of their region. Senior legal counsel Andrea Brancatelli is responsible for all legal matters within Southern Europe and digital products for all of Europe. The southern Europe legal team has built a regtech solution that allows the company to monitor, globally, more than 250,000 agent contracts in order to allow business to take appropriate and timely actions. ‘We have a focus on client and exceed in legal tech. We have monthly meetings on the filed with customer and propose new legal regtech solutions to improve customer experience and empower business’, says Brancatelli. Due to the increase of digital projects the team has also built an autonomous privacy team.
