With the support of its excellent in-house legal team, EFG International recently announced the expansion of its services including a new multi-custody platform, in partnership with AM-One, a subsidiary of Expersoft Systems. At the time of writing this service is expected to launch in September 2019. The major private international bank based in Zurich also recently completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Shaw and Partners, an Australian financial service provider, aided by the work of the legal team. In March 2019, Yves Aeschlimann was appointed group head of legal and compliance for EFG International and EFG Bank and part of the executive committee. He oversees the combined legal and compliance division.
