Headed by senior vice president of legal and regulatory affairs Wade Wright, the legal team at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) is replete with some of the best lawyers in the country. The team is dedicated to being proactive and constantly adding to its business acumen and becoming more solution orientated, key traits for a company working in an industry that is experiencing significant regulatory changes. In May 2019, the team members assisted in establishing the partnership with global leader in technology incubators Plug and Play, to launch a Vapetech incubator which will operate from Silicon Valley through a batch of start-ups.
