SICPA is a Swiss leader in developing and distributing high security ink for bank notes, identity documents and brand protection that has gained considerable global recognition over the years. This is in part thanks to its legal team that has been at the core the company’s service and product launches, as well as working on projects that are considered innovative in the area of financial protection and identification documents. Amongst these projects is the launch of SPARK Live, an optical security initiative used in more than 40 countries for the protection of banknotes and identification documents. The legal function is fully involved in assisting the company in providing secured identification, traceability and authentication solutions and services. They have driven the ONE SICPA concept, the organisation’s term for an integrated organisation operating internationally, with regional flexibility. This concept has required the team to adapt to globally applicable standards and processes, ensuring global consistency between two business divisions and in the corporate regions that SICPA has presence in.
