The legal team acts as an integrated, yet independent business partner by understanding the Vifor Pharma strategy, current and prospective business plans and by communicating effectively, transparently and in a solution-orientated way. Amongst their biggest transactions in recent years, the legal team worked on the IPO of Galenica in 2017, the second biggest IPO worldwide that year and the in-licence deal in 2018 with Cara Therapeutics for Korsuva. The legal team also worked on the launch of an inaugural Swiss Franc straight bond, worth CHF465m in the Swiss domestic market.
