Maurice Blanco is the co-head of Davis Polk’s global capital markets group and a member of the Latin America practice group. He has worked on public and private debt and equity offerings, exchange offers and debt restructurings by US and Latin American issuers in a variety of industries. Blanco also regularly advises US and Latin American corporate clients with respect to general corporate matters, including corporate governance, SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley matters.

Key cases that Blanco has been involved in include advising Sixsigma Networks México, S.A. de C.V. (KIO Networks) in connection with its Rule 144A/Regulation S. He was also involved with advising J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BBVA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Barclays Capital Inc. as representatives of the initial purchasers in connection with a Rule 144A and Regulation S offering by Terrafina. Notable clients that Blanco has also worked on cases for include the Bank of Korea Placement and Vesta, an important company within the industrial real estate sector in Mexico.
