Part of the Tata Group, Tata Power is a multibillion dollar earning Indian electric utility business and since 2007, the company’s in-house legal department has been spearheaded by group head of legal Subodh Karmarkar. Assisting Karmarkar in handling a range of legal matters is a legal team full of business legal experts such as head – regulatory legal Abhay Kumar and head – corporate legal Arun Bapat who has a versatile professional legal career spanning over 30 years in addition to chief legal officer Parminder Jassal.
