Fresh off the back of successfully supporting a blockbuster Rs500 crore real estate investment in Mumbai in late 2016, non-banking financial institution Altico Capital is moving into an exciting new chapter in its history. The Mumbai project, which will feature two million square feet of saleable property once completed, is just one example of the complex and high-value work that the Altico Capital legal team excels in supporting. The team is led by head of structuring and general counsel Mrinal Chandran, an expert in financial legal matters with over 15 years of experience in relevant in-house legal roles. Alongside him, vice president legal Pramit Mohanty also stood out during the research process for his intimate knowledge of the business’ operations and the applicable legal and regulatory matters for the company, which he has put to use since joining Altico Capital in 2015.
