A corporate lawyer with over 22 years of experience, Bidemi Ademola is a specialist in the practice of corporate and commercial law in Nigeria and the further West Africa region.

Ademola first joined Unilever Nigeria in 1997 as a legal officer, before eventually rising to become legal director and company secretary West Africa in May 2014, where she was responsible for covering nine countries in sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria, Ghana and Francophone West Africa. Ademola’s legal career has been spent as corporate counsel and chartered secretary partnering the Unilever business to manage legal and regulatory risks and delivering solutions to compliance and governance issues.

From January 2017, her scope of responsibility changed and now covers the management of all legal and compliance affairs for Unilever’s Ghana-Nigeria cluster, a dynamic role which she leads with a passion for high ethical standards and innovative legal solutions.
