Société Nationale d’Investissement is a large private Moroccan financial holding company partly owned by the Moroccan royal family. Nadia Kawtar Alaoui has served as its head of legal for the last year and during this time she has assisted with a broad range of legal challenges within different fields such as banking, telecommunications, renewable energy businesses and the food industry, helping her cement her place within the market as a multi-dynamic lawyer with an extensive and varied range of legal knowledge.

Alaoui’s previous experience includes a portfolio of well-known law firms, and prior to her in-house career she had a short spell an associate lawyer for BSA Dumon & Partners, working on corporate law, major acquisitions and equity capital transactions amongst many others. She also served as a lawyer for professional services firm Grant Thornton, where she managed the paralegal team and coordinated the international domestic due diligences. Alaoui also spent part of her career as a lawyer for the Hoche law firm for a three year period, with a focus on M&A and corporate law matters.
