Denso Thermal Systems
Denso Thermal Systems was established in 1986 in Turin, and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary of producing high quality thermal products for the automotive and off-road sectors. The company is specialised in designing, developing and manufacturing for its renowned customers including Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Iveco, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault and Toyota, to name a few. The legal team is made up of five legal counsel and two paralegals all equipped to assist the business in avoiding litigations and creating successful business outcomes. Dedicated to improving the internal dynamics of the department, the team has worked on establishing the antitrust structure, enabling better awareness and understanding of it throughout the business. As part of this synergy, the team report to senior management on a daily basis, further reinforcing the business, legal relationship. Led by general counsel Veronica Rossi, who is responsible for the four Italian companies and their subsidiaries in Portugal, Poland, Morocco and India the team has had to become the bridge between different legal cultures. This has been achieved through increased interaction across the board and has made the legal team a globally cohesive arm of the business. Legal compliance counsel, Ernesto Pravisano, is also praised by peers for his dedication to encouraging the team to have a less legal approach but adopt a more compliance focused point of view, an attitude which has considerably reduced costs for the company.
