What are the most important transactions and litigations that you have been involved in during the last two years?

Acer went through a Group restructuring across EMEA to establish a new business Group. The EMEA legal team provided all the necessary legal and compliance advice to the company. In addition, Acer fell victim to a ransomware attack in 2021 and our team took all the necessary legal steps to deal with the hack while notifying the data and privacy breach to the data protection authorities.

What “legal tech” products do you currently utilise, and do you foresee implementing more of these in the near future?

I can foresee implementing e-Billing, e-Filling, and e-Contracts for now.

GDPR and its evolution have kept the in-house legal team and the company extremely busy.
