Our team deals with international cases and transactions. Being a part of the establishment and then liquidation of Yapı Kredi Malta, which is a subsidiary of our Bank has been the most significant transaction of our team recently.

Which recent political, economic or regulatory changes have impacted the company and the team the most?

Many data privacy rules and its implications have affected our Bank regulations, but our legal team is keeping a keen eye on all changes and offering solutions which will give the least implication.

Even in the best-case scenario, Covid is likely to have far-reaching ramifications. How are you safeguarding the long-term health of the business?

I strongly believe the era of traditional office environment is completed due to the explosion of remote working in the last couple of months. Working from home or remotely will need to be our new working style as a legal team.
