Looking forward, what technological advancements do you feel will impact the role of in-house legal teams in the future the most?

Technological advancements that allow for the automatic filling of contracts are especially useful and can save legal teams time. The proper archiving of contracts and related communications are also extremely useful. Recently, the use of electronic signature has also improved our efficiency by reducing the amount of administrative work and assisting with automatic filling and management of contracts, as well as archiving contracts once they are signed.

How do you suggest in-house lawyers build strong relationships with business partners?

In-house lawyers are part of the team and need to be viewed this way by the business. The best way to do this is to find out which problems the business face and provide insightful ideas on how to tackle them.

What are the most significant cases or projects you have been involved in recently?

Our team has been closely monitoring and considering the changes in local law, in particular the law on warranties. We are focused on implementing and adapting our procedures to reflect these changes.
