Justin Forsell joined nbn as chief legal counsel and has since been responsible for all of nbn’s legal services, company secretary matters, freedom of information and security regulations. He leads on all transactions, disputes, litigations, legal analysis and any other advice and governance matters required by the company. As a public corporation nbn encounters a considerable amount of regulation, oversight and scrutiny particularly as it was unveiling its internet service across the country. Forsell relied upon his prior experience at Vodafone Australia, BT Group Japan and in the UK and at Hutchinson Telecom providing excellent legal coverage during this critical period. He continues to lead the legal affairs of the firm as it delivers wholesale internet broadband services across Australia in aid of helping alleviate the “digital gap” in Australian society.
