Having achieved a decade of in-house legal experience in the resources and infrastructure sector, Marc Scardilli leads the legal function at WorleyParsons in the Australia, Oceania and New Zealand region in his role of general counsel ANZ. He has previously served as deputy general counsel for the region, and as a senior legal counsel for MENA and India. He is responsible for providing corporate advice, governance and compliance, procurement matters, employment relations, IP, commercial property transactions, dispute resolution and risk management.

WorleyParsons’ business is split into several different divisions including an infrastructure consulting company, Advisian, hydrocarbons, infrastructure, oil and gas and chemicals sectors. Recently, the Advisian consulting division was chosen by Aurizon, a major coal plant operator, to develop a rail network between its Newlands Line and Stuart Line operations with extension to cover its other operations in Queensland. Advisian also ran a technical due diligence review of the proposed rail operation. This project and others like it demonstrate the kind of work Scardilli is involved with at WorleyParsons and demonstrate his deal making commercial acumen and industry experience.
