One of the most knowledgeable legal professionals in Tanzania, Vodacom’s Nina Pendaeli Eshun has worked as a lawyer for over 15 years. Starting her legal career at the Attorney General’s Office in 1992, Eshun then worked as business development manager, establishing the first cash management business in Tanzania from a concept to a revenue-generating unit.

She began her in-house career in September 2003 upon joining Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania. There, besides handling all routine legal, compliance and corporate governance work, Eshun impressed with her effective management of the bank’s litigation portfolio. Since joining her current employer, Vodacom Tanzania, Eshun has added significant value thanks to her astute project management, strategic planning and performance management.

In addition to hear role as chief legal and regulatory officer, Eshun acts as a head of the secretarial function of the company in East Africa.
