Troy Swan is the chief legal officer, company secretary and board member of the major multinational office products company Winc Australia & New Zealand. Winc was formed in 2018 following the acquisition of Staples & OfficeMax by US-based private equity firm Platinum Equity. Known for his commercial acumen, Swan is highly active within the Sydney legal and business community and often described as a “business person with a law degree” for his deal making abilities.
He is a regular speaker and media commentator on legal affairs, innovation and large scale legal service delivery models, and leads an award winning legal team based in Sydney. He is a multiple international industry award winning corporate counsel known for his leadership and innovation within the sector, and his ability to work in multiple jurisdictions. As company secretary and chief legal officer at Staples, Swan was at the helm during the merger with Winc and has continued to implement affairs relating out of this development.
