What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

During the last year we have been involved in several large transactions that included class actions agreements, M&A transactions, process improvements, and pandemic-related issues, such as returning to the office.

What will be the main focus for the company in the next 12 months and how do you intend to assist with this?

Our efforts will be focused on improving our processes and the service to our internal customers.

How much influence do you, as a general counsel, have on the diversity and inclusions policies of your organisation?

As leader of the CSR program, I constantly promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies. The company has several DEI goals and commitments. Our broad set of 2030 DEI commitments is designed to address the needs of the underserved and underrepresented, through a mix of investments, products and services, supply chain, volunteering and community efforts. Each commitment is anchored to our business strategy and informed by the United Nations sustainable development goals. The financial components of these commitments total more than US$2.5 billion, by 2030.
