The Ukrainian legal team of Philip Morris International (PMI) has impressed nominating sources for its performance under the expert direction of Natalya Bondarenko, director of corporate affairs, since 2016. The global cigarette and tobacco giant first entered the Ukrainian market in 1993, basing its headquarters in Kiev. It currently operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kharkiv, producing a range of local and international brands for the Ukrainian market and for export. In 2016, Philip Morris Ukraine was one of the first PMI affiliates to launch “IQOS” – a new product based on the innovative “heat-not-burn” technology. The technology will help to develop a range of smoke-free products which aim to deliver nicotine to smokers while reducing or eliminating HPHCs into the environment. PMI is the leading tobacco producer in Ukraine and its legal department ensures the company’s continued dominance by expertly handling its legal business, from tobacco regulations, supplier contracts, IP matters surrounding its latest products in addition to all corporate concerns.
