Telecommunications lawyer, Marcel Huber has broad experience and a strong record of accomplishments in the fields of IT law, corporate law, competition law, copyright law, data protection, legal management M&A and regulatory strategy to name a few. Huber joined Salt Mobile in April 2015 as general counsel and corporate secretary, director legal and regulatory, where he led the legal and regulatory department to participate in corporate legal matters in the fields of telecommunications, IT, mobile frequencies, M&A, data protection and information security. In December 2015 he assumed his current role as chief of corporate affairs and general counsel where he oversees legal, regulatory, HR, security and corporate secretary matters. Before joining Salt Mobile he served as the general counsel and corporate secretary director legal and regulatory at multinational telecommunications corporation, Orange Switzerland, taking on the responsibility of setting up an effective enterprise risk management and compliance system. His other roles within the telecommunications sector include a four year tenure as senior legal counsel for, UPC Cablecom, the largest cable operator in Switzerland and a six month spell as legal counsel for Telefonica.
