What is the biggest risk facing your industry now and how are you preparing your organisation to deal with this?

At a high level, India is going through a profound transformation in the regulatory space, particularly in the e-commerce industry. As such, my advice to any business and organisation is to stay agile and flexible, ensuring complete compliance to applicable laws.

What are some of the most significant cases or transactions you have worked on recently?

It has been really facilitating to see the evolution of the law pertaining to intermediaries through judicial pronouncements, observing and evaluating the impact on our organisation.

What is a cause, business or otherwise, you are passionate about and why?

On a personal level, I have been really attracted to the way in which technology space has evolved across the world. It is great to see a breath of fresh air in global technology innovators, who were not even in existence a couple of decades ago. Mostly, law is a little slow in catching with innovation and that’s what gives tech lawyers, with deeper knowledge of business, an edge over others.
