Kelly Zhan is a commercial lawyer with experience working as a generalist in-house counsel for Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed companies in healthcare, manufacturing and mining industries. In her current role as deputy general counsel for Cochlear’s Asia Pacific and Latin America business units, she oversees the legal and compliance function where she is responsible for building a high-performance team committed to the delivery of proactive, solutions-oriented legal support. With a proven track record of being a commercially minded lawyer, she is best known for her ability to drive legal solutions that enable the achievement of commercial goals while minimising legal risk. Kelly is extremely passionate about mentoring the next generation of legal professionals to become lawyers who are valued by the business for their ability to deliver constructive and commercially relevant legal advice.
