Senior legal counsel at Aperam South America since May 2011, Marcos Bruno Oliveira joined with nearly 20 years of experience, both in-house and in private practice, in the steel and metals industry. His skills range from litigation and consulting experience with administrative and judicial procedure familiarity, and expertise in labour law, civil, commercial, and environmental and real estate matters. He is adept at drafting and negotiation of contracts with national and international clients in multiple jurisdictions with a business conscious approach. Oliveira also organises internal training on legal and regulatory matters, prepares periodic reports for management on the legal affairs of the company, and handles external counsel. Aperam South America is part of the Aperam Corporation with locations across Brazil and in Europe producing flat stainless, electrical, and specialty flat carbon steel. With an installed capacity of 900 thousand tons of liquid steel it is one of the largest steel producers in Brazil.
