Lucas Garcia Oliver is general counsel for South America (apart from Brazil) for Siemens, and is based in Buenos Aires. He oversees a diverse range of Siemens operations: gas, power generation services, energy management, mobility, digital factory – process and drives divisions.

He has over 25 years of legal experience gained in the public sector as a law clerk to a federal judge. He also has private practice sector experience as an associate – with Severgnini Robiola Grinberg & Tombeur for over eight years and Carcavallo Larrechea & Asociados – and in in-house roles with MetroGas and Siemens.

An excellent project manager with extremely developed interpersonal skills, Garcia’s specialist legal expertise has been displayed in a number of litigations and complex commercial transactions. He is also highly knowledgeable in company law and contractual compliance.
