Adrian Bressani
Legal director | BBVA Francés
Founded in 1886, BBVA Francés is the oldest private bank in Argentina. The legal team, headed by Adrian Bressani, supports the affairs of the bank on all legal and corporate governance related matters across its 245 branches in Argentina. Described as a professional who excels in his ability to work under pressure and multi-task, Bressani has provided his employer with indispensable advice on corporate transactions. Recently, Bressani has assisted BBVA Francés on a deal to loan $6bn to the Argentinian government, in 18-month loan alongside international banks Santander, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and JP Morgan. This transaction has ensured that the government can cover its financing needs at the start of 2017. In addition, the BBVA Francés legal team has supported recent efforts by the bank to promote the purchase of real estate through bank loans, while working alongside Proaco BBVA. Both the bank and the French development group are currently working towards providing a loan for the funding of Docta, a new 600 hectare development located in the west of the city of Cordoba. Bressani’s proven ability to support market-leading, and often unique, transactions allows the bank to continue to innovate.
