Albert Eduardo Martínez Costa is a lawyer who stands out among peers for his relentless work ethic and drive to succeed. A top corporate lawyer with vast experience of working in-house, Martínez has established a legal department that has a reputation for being highly professional and ethical. Martínez has served at Aluar, the only aluminium smelter in Argentina and one of the largest in South America, since 2001 – initially working in the position of director of investor relations and subsequently as a general counsel. Martínez and his team are involved in all strategic efforts of Aluar, including its recently announced plans to expand into the field of wind energy. The company intends to invest over $600m to install 200 MW in the area between Puerto Madryn and Trelew.
