Matthieu Peron has been at Schneider Electric, the European multinational corporation, since 2010. Now as chief legal counsel for French operations managing a team of in-house lawyers, Peron provides support to the Group’s front offices and business in France. In addition to securing projects in France and delivering on these same French projects, he also supports Schneider Electric’s transactional business activity by being involved on negotiations of master supply agreements and distribution agreements.

He also plays a key role in advising Schneider Electric’s management of legal entities based in France. Before his current role, Peron served the company as associate general counsel for the energy and sustainability services for two years. Prior to this he was corporate legal counsel for four years having previously spent time at Siemens and Compass Group.
