Marc P. Leuzinger was named general counsel for Citi Switzerland and Liechtenstein in 2018. He is also responsible for Citi’s Legal coverage in Jersey and Monaco. In addition, Marc acts as Corporate Secretary for Citi Switzerland since 2015 and is a Member of the Foundation Board of Citi Switzerland’s own Pension Fund since 2011 acting as an Employee Representative. Marc joined Citi in Switzerland in 2007 as a Legal Assistant.

Marc leads a diverse team of lawyers based in Switzerland and Jersey, that is responsible for all the legal entities and businesses in the countries he is responsible for. This includes Citi’s Global Wealth Management business that serves ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices, as well as the Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory, Citi Commercial Bank, Markets, Treasury and Trade Solutions and Securities Services businesses. Additionally, Marc manages litigations and covers legal matters of all internal functions, such as Compliance, Internal Audit, Operations & Technology, HR, Finance, and others.

Marc holds a Master of Law with a supplementary certificate in European Law from University of Fribourg.
