With energy management and automation being the core of the company’s activities, some or multiple cases or transactions are of significance considering their size or scale and the importance of the partners, which include several opportunities to support our partners in the public transport and utilities sector.
What are some of the main trends impacting the industry sector you work in in Thailand?
Electrification, digitisation and automation with sustainability as a main objective appear to be the main trends, not only in the industry where the company is operating, but also, in the business sphere in general. A smart and green future is no longer an option but a must.
As we enter the next decade, what skills will a corporate legal team need to succeed in the modern in-house industry?
Resilience, adaptability and agility appear to be core values, and soft skills are undoubtedly required for modern in-house counsel to be successful.
How do you suggest in-house lawyers build strong relationships with business partners?
Getting to know about and familiarising yourself with the businesses of your organisation is indispensable to understand your stakeholders. It is key to understanding your business partners, and doing so could lead to trust and relationships being built up and then fostered.
What are some of the main legislative or regulatory changes that have impacted you?
The Personal Data Protection law and Anti-trust law appear to be the main legislative or regulatory changes with significant impacts on the legal profession in Thailand.
