What has been the number one challenge that has impacted you over the past year?

The central theme was the revision of the contracts signed by our quality contractors or customers due to the pandemic that affected operations in Peru between the years 2020 and 2022.

Looking forward, what technological advancements do you feel will impact the role of in-house legal teams in the future the most?

One of the technological advancements that will impact the role of in-house legal teams will involve converting mass consumption sales businesses, such as the one in which I participate, into operators meeting the needs of consumers from the different consumption opportunities that they demand, especially in the digital commerce spaces.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

One of my main interests concern the implementation of regulatory compliance or compliance programmes, related to the activity of a mass consumption company — free competition, anti-corruption, consumer protection, environmental protection, among others.
