What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

This year we have been working in an antitrust program for all the BU in Unacem, we know as a cement industry our risk in antitrust matters needs a special and strong program to prevent any problems in the future.

How important is choosing to work with external lawyers who align with your company’s values? Are you likely to reconsider what firms you work with based on this?

We value integrity in all our actions, no matter what the subject is, anti-trust or data privacy, and we request that our external lawyers have the same values. External lawyers as agents have a high risk in compliance matters so it is critical to look for the correct lawyers for your business.

If existent, can you talk about you or your company’s efforts relating to renewability, sustainability or other environmentally friendly activities?

Unacem is in the industry area, in the cement production, their goal is to be carbon neutral by 2050, to achieve this goal a lot of actions, including investments and fuel reduction has begun.
