Divya Sridhar currently serves as the managing director of legal for FedEx Express India since April 2017. Based in Mumbai, she leads the legal team in India and is responsible for managing and providing direction on all legal and regulatory matters for the company in India.

With over 15 years of experience in the corporate legal space, she is highly recognised for her contributions to FedEx Express in India and for providing legal counsel on complex, high-impact, and sensitive matters in the region. Prior to joining FedEx, Divya had a successful career in private practice in top-tier law firms in India, including Amarchand Mangaldas and Dua Associates, where she gained technical expertise as a transaction lawyer focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions and General Corporate advisory. She holds a Bachelor of Social, Legal Sciences and a Bachelor of Law from Symbiosis Deemed University in Pune.

The ten member FedEx legal team in India, based in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, reports to the VP Legal, Asia, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA). They provide support across the entire spectrum of the business, including airline operations, customs clearance, and pick-up and delivery operations to the FedEx Advanced Capability Community. They have established themselves as essential business partners, enabling business growth and transformation, in response to the ever-evolving legal and regulatory demands of the transportation and logistics industry.

Divya is also a diversity, equity, and inclusion leader, championing disability inclusion in the AMEA region to fulfil the company’s vision of being a leading organisation that values, empowers, and supports persons with disabilities.  

Furthermore, Divya is a recipient of the FedEx Five Star Award, the company’s highest accolade.
