Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?   

McKinsey’s global legal team has grown exponentially from approximately 90 colleagues to 275 colleagues over the past four years.  Given the truly global nature of the team, with colleagues across various geographies and regions, we realised that effective collaboration is vital.  In this post-pandemic technology enabled world, within McKinsey’s global legal department, we have piloted various projects that intentionally focus on knowledge and resource sharing, leveraging subject matter expertise and providing solution-oriented legal advice to our stakeholders.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?  

I care about utilising generative AI and technology in a constructive manner so that it is not perceived as a disrupter and a threat but is, instead, viewed as a tool for doing our highest and best work as lawyers, particularly as in-house counsels.
